Bubble Bobble was a good game, but they are getting to slim pickins now.

Pokemon Snap Coming to Virtual Console

Not exactly anything noteworthy, eh? It is not a particularly noteworthy title, and the virtual console is full of games for Nintendo fanatics. The thing is, this game comes with a twist. Fans of the original Pokemon Snap will be in for a surprise with this game, as Nintendo has improved the game by adding Wii functionality.

This is a great thing for fans of the Nintendo virtual console, as it will open up a lot of possibilities for future virtual console games.

Nintendo Online Makes $33 Million With Virtual Console

When the Nintendo Wii was still in the works and information started coming out about the virtual console, I thought it was an interesting idea, but I wasn’t sure exactly who was going to pay money for games they already have, or used to place 20 years ago. Outdated graphics and easy gameplay seemed to be a thing of the past, or was it?

According to Nintendo, they have raked in $33 million dollars from their virtual console. Then they stated that they weren’t sure if this was high or low. Considering that these games had already been created and sold once to the public previously, the fact that they convinced the public to rebuy the same games is incredible. That is like charging someone for bottled water when they can get it free at home!

With that said, I’m a big fan of the virtual console, it just surprises me how successful it has been.

Double Dribble was the first Nintendo game I ever owned, along with Double Dragon. That was a great Christmas morning….
