Is the Nintendo Wii the Only Next Generation Gaming Console?

What happened to innovation?  There is no doubt that the Nintendo Wii took gaming to another level, but its main competitors, XBox and Playstation, seemed to have maxed out on ideas.   Instead of innovating, they are just working on upgrading their existing consoles by adding more memory, faster processors, and more.
