Nintendo May Pull Wii Advertising

According to several published reports, it looks like Nintendo may be getting ready to pull their holiday advertising, due to the lack of consoles available for purchase.

I remember last year wondering why I saw so many Wii ads when no one could find a Wii to purchase. At the time, I kind of shrugged it off because I figured they were just trying to generate buzz and demand for their gaming console. People are less likely to buy a competitors console if they know what the Wii can do. I think this year is a little different because people are getting really frustrated trying to locate the Wii in stores, and the advertising is only reminding people that they can’t find one.

Wireless Nunchuck To Arrive Soon

After initially getting two nunchucks for my Nintendo Wii when it first came out, I held off on purchasing the other two in the hopes of eventually seeing a wireless nunchuck released. Now it looks like the wait will finally pay off, as Nyko has announced a Wireless nunchuck.

It looks like a censor will go into the bottom of the Wiimote, then you will get a nunchuck with a strap. Here is how it will look:
