Based on several ranking systems, including Game Rankings, it seems that Super Mario Galaxy is the highest rated game to date.
I still remember back when the Nintendo Wii was released and we were told about Super Mario Galaxy. It looks like Nintendo was smart to take their time with this title, and all their hard work has paid off. I doubt it will top Super Mario Galaxy, but I would expect Super Smash Brothers Brawl to get extremely high ratings as well.
